What parents learn
Pathway clarity from answers — not match footage
The Player Pathway Profile summarises how your child’s current football setup, habits and goals may align — based on what you tell us in a short questionnaire.
Parents typically leave with a clearer sense of pathway fit, three practical next moves, and which questions still need match footage before anyone can talk honestly about on-pitch development.
Journey position
Where the Profile sits in Path2Academy
- Step one: free pathway orientation (this report)
- Step two (optional): structured player assessment from match footage (£49)
- Step three (optional): membership for Train Now, monthly reassessment and longitudinal development history
- Throughout: methodology pages explain Football Development Index™ and the Observed Footage Benchmark used in paid reports
Product distinction
How it differs from a £49 video assessment
Player Pathway Profile
Free. Parent answers about environment, habits and goals. No footage. No FDI™ score from the form. Orientation before you decide what to buy.
£49 Player Assessment
Paid. Match footage required. Structured on-pitch development picture with FDI™, Observed Footage Benchmark, priorities and a 30-day development plan in the report.
Paid assessments remain a separate, footage-based product with AI-assisted analysis. Reports are not currently individually reviewed by a human football coach at launch.
Honest limits
What a Player Pathway Profile does not claim
- It does not judge technical ability or match performance
- It does not produce a footage-based Football Development Index™
- It does not offer academy selection, trials, scouting or contracts
- It does not replace club coaching or official academy evaluation
This assessment is based solely on the footage you submitted. It is an indicative development guide and does not guarantee academy selection or represent an official academy evaluation.
