Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Path2Academy uses strictly necessary technologies for authentication, security and payments, limited first-party analytics, Google Analytics website measurement, and consent-gated Microsoft Clarity and Meta measurement.

1. Our position

Path2Academy uses strictly necessary technologies to operate the service, plus limited first-party analytics for traffic and attribution.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. With your permission, we also use Microsoft Clarity and Meta measurement tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, on eligible public pages.

Google Analytics is used for website traffic measurement independently of the optional preference. Microsoft Clarity and Meta's optional tools are not loaded unless you choose Allow analytics and advertising cookies. You can change that choice later using the Cookie settings control.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

Authentication and session cookies/storage are used to keep parent accounts signed in securely and to maintain assessment progress.

Security and payment-related technologies may also be used where necessary to protect accounts, prevent fraud and complete transactions.

These technologies are required for core features and are not controlled by the optional-cookie choice.

3. First-party analytics

Path2Academy uses first-party session and attribution cookies to understand landing pages, referrers, UTM/source values, coarse device category and page-view counts.

These first-party analytics records do not store IP addresses and are not used for browser fingerprinting.

They help us understand which marketing channels bring visitors to Path2Academy and whether those visits lead to assessments or purchases.

4. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta measurement

Google Analytics 4 supplied by Google receives standard website-event information such as page views. If you allow optional analytics and advertising cookies, Microsoft Clarity may also provide heatmaps and session recordings, and the Meta Pixel may receive selected conversion events.

Microsoft Clarity is restricted to public, adult-facing pages intended for parents or legal guardians. It is disabled on private account, player, assessment, footage, dashboard, report and administration routes.

Clarity uses Strict masking, its most protective masking mode. We do not use Clarity custom identifiers and do not intentionally send child or player identities, form entries, assessment answers, footage, reports or account content to Clarity.

For selected consented conversion events, Path2Academy may send the same limited event type, event identifier, website source and purchase value information to Meta through the Meta Conversions API so browser and server measurement can be deduplicated and advertising performance measured more reliably.

Automatic Advanced Matching is not enabled in our Path2Academy Meta setup at launch.

We do not intentionally send player names, ages, questionnaire answers, football assessment data, uploaded footage, report content, Football Development Index results, Development Bands or development priorities to Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or Meta.

Google, Microsoft and Meta may process information they receive under their own privacy terms and may use cookies or similar technologies on your browser when their services are enabled.

5. Your choices

You can choose Keep optional tools off or Allow analytics and advertising cookies when the cookie banner is shown.

If you keep optional tools off, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel will not be loaded, and Path2Academy will not send optional conversion events through the Meta Conversions API. Google Analytics traffic measurement remains active.

You can reopen Cookie settings to change your preference. If you withdraw permission after previously allowing optional cookies, Clarity permission is revoked and the page reloads so Clarity and Meta scripts are no longer active.

6. Payment-provider technology

Stripe provides checkout and billing. Stripe may set its own cookies or similar technologies on Stripe-hosted pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

Those technologies are controlled by Stripe's own policies on Stripe's pages.

7. Updates

We will update this policy if the advertising or analytics technologies used by Path2Academy materially change.

Microsoft Clarity and Meta advertising tracking remain subject to the consent controls described above. Google Analytics is used for website traffic measurement as described in this policy.
